hmmm.....

I always thank myself for maintaining a blog and writing a diary. It makes me remind myself as to who I was and reminds me to learn from my mistakes. Over the years, I like every other person has changed in many ways (some change was good, some was ...the opposite). But through all the change a lot of my taste has not changed a lot. Although I do love all colours, I am still partial to some more than others. I love sci-fi, probably ever since i encountered Jules Verne in my childhood both in the form of book and awesome animated movies watched during summer vacation in Bombay. I never get tired of  characters from certain sitcoms.. (That is what triggered this post, re-watching this show called 'Family Ties' which had its reruns on Indian television when we were young). I should get into control. I'm not able to sleep early even if I am dead sleepy. These thoughts. Hmmm.

So a lot of people as people I know 'what is she doing there?'. About where I am and what I do. If you are my friend, you already know. Or you know and don't care to remember. Either ways, I don't mind. But the people who know these friends are so curious. I wonder how people can be that curious. I have said this time and again, I am not a very curuous person when it comes to people. I am more 'concerned' and even paradnoid at times. But not curious. I am however, very curious when it comes to something new I have come across in terms of learning. I can stay up trying to read up or figuring out certain things. Ok ok... I just did what I do very often and very well. Jumped topics. Yes, about reactions. So PoPa is visiting one of her friends and his wife whom I met just twice, a long time ago.  And that this chap is super duper friendly. So I passed on my hello through PoPa. Two people I have met in this place, who have become important to me turned twenty five recently. Whenever these two meet, I hope they get along very well (I have a feeling they will, can't wait for that to happen). Another friend asked as to why I would like these two to meet and I told her because they are the same kind of weird and useless. I rarely ever feel the need that any of my parallel friends should meet, but with these two I somehow feel they should. Although, I must say I am definitely closer to one than the other. Both these friendships may have a short shelf life (no no I am not pessimistic, its just the kind of people that they are...might not last). But I love that I met them. The ambition, the love for family,their interest in travelling, the zeal for what they want to, the independence, the diplomacy, the patience.(they are not entirely the same people, but these are the similarities between them). And friends would ask that I sing it. But I don't think I can anymore. Sadly for me, I am not one of those 'natural singers' of the family. That's why I love it when people sing so well.

Today was exhausting, but out of the exhausting day I came to know of two friendship. One I knew of before but knew it better today. And one I did not know of (to the point of being vocal about it) But today, unexpectedly, it showed me that it was there. Both so different to me, different to each other were  there for me today. When I think of today in the future,  I will remember it fondly. In fact, very fondly. And the other two, who just listened to the whole thing. Without getting bugged. With concentration. Life has changed so much in the past decade, and so has my equation with it. I am much more emotional and much less emotional, all at the same time. I am much more secretive and much move open, at the same time. Contradictions. Life.
