10

It is officially,my tenth day here. However,it does feel a lot longer. Maybe it is the travelling or maybe the illness or maybe not being home. My 'new' university has started teaching me already, to the point that Z (yes, thats a new character on the block) said 'Welcome to reality'. Now, I mean it (PoV of my non-showing-off-self) that I do know a lot about the a'nuances (=annoying nuances) of the city. I also do know some, albeit good things about the city too. In other words, I know the 'reality' of the city. I know how people from here love it and outsiders like myself have extreme opinions. They either love to hate (dislike) the city or just plain love it. I don't like the rudeness mainly. I don't like how 'slow' processing things work here (I mean come on! I'm from a smaller city and a SLOW city, but people function a tad bit faster there). I am thankful for the decent food. The fact that I haven't lost weight after getting...

Hunky dory

I've had a mixed week. I've met new people. I've met smart people. I've met informative people. I've also walked. By choice, not by choice. I've been patient and well, not so patient. The best part has been the books, and optimism about certain things, the not so great part was some dull classes and the worst part well the cribby me. I feel like I am cribbing ALL THE TIME! I guess the cold has had a good timing, as a 'divine intervention' for me to shut up already!  *divine intervention is more 'the phrase from college' than the 'true meaning'
I had classes from 9:30am to 5:30pm today, not one class happened. I shocked two classmates by stating that I am a vegetarian.

Tired

I miss punctual people... I left 11 hours ago and came back less than an hour ago. Usually,I am fine with such days. But not when these are days where NOTHING works out.NOTHING. I dislike this city,I dislike the univ's timings and the pointless distances.
Huckleberry Friends. Reminding you what you want from life, what you have room for and that they have room for you. Millions of adorations to them.
I walked across the street, the stream I know where home is I know I can come back I know I'll find And that's why I choose,I chose, to cross the street

State of Mind

Doctored with patience.Part 1

By now, most of the people I consider as good friends know that I have come to dislike hospitals. When I was little I wanted to become a doctor (also a dancer,a pianist,a singer,a painter,a lawyer and a traveller but somehow the doctor bit is what people remember) Over the years,I wondered what it took to become and be a doctor. My earliest memory of going to a doctor was when we went for our vaccination shots and the doctor had such a happy face, that i don't really remember the injections. And then we progressed to going to a friend of Chitti (who was a doctor) whenever we had the occassional fever or stomach ache.Okay, for me it was more than occassional. And then of course, came the time I spent a week in a hospital. That is when I realised that doctors can be patient and inspiring, sometimes even silly. During my stay I became friends with not only the Surgeon,Peadiatrician,Duty Doctors (one of whom started borrowing comic books from me,thankfully she did return ALL of them) but als...

My mind,in the moment.

If I fall in love I wish it were you If I ever fell in love It would have been you But I know facts, more than I know you, If I did fall in love, It would not, come true. I still do Of course, love you, but like I have always, but I haven't ever fallen, and maybe never will, fall in love with you Here,my thoughts are merely thoughts Fleeting in the moment Here, these thoughts are incomplete, Flying through the moment.
