Trap

This trap that see in front of me
Its a one I laid for myself
It stood after as an impossibility
But i wondered and dreamt about it,
I wanted to make it mine to keep
and see
And I pulled it closer,
charming it seemed
It mesmerised me, made me smile
It caught me off guard
and then
it trapped me
Here I was in the past,
standing afar from the trap
Now amidst, I'm trapped
in a trap I knowingly, laid down for me

I knew I needed to stay away
I knew I needed to put it away
But no, the want got the better of me
I knew I needed to get away
but i tangled
and tangled till I was more trapped
Now I'm caged, in my own way
No one's fault but mine
But still, I am charmed and mesmerised
by this trap that I laid down for me

What should i do?tell (or dont)

See its like this,i've known her forever, whenever i've made references to her on this blog she's known it, after four years i'll be seeing some people who are a special part of my life, i would like to spend new years atleast this year with her....atleast this year... i wont and cannot tell her this to her face,she will get offended,she may not udnerstand my viewpoint, she will expect it of me,but wont get my view point still....... birthday,eve,n.yr...its ok if she's not there for mine....but i know what is going to happen.... though i cant help it...i will feel bad..... atb to her and all the goodness in the world. they'll not be that four again its true.... P.S:to her,please dont ask me about this.
