Bye Bye Black Bird

Black bird with wings
soaring high
come down and see
my teary eye

i sorrowed all night
tomorrow it is going to be alright.
Yesterday was you.
Filled with all.
Weddings,baby showers,birthdays and all
Break-ups,crushes of all around
Careers and others reaching
new ground

Started with weddings of joyous times
ended with weddings of similar kind
Babies were born,and turned one
Ancestors went to different lands
and yesterday passed
without a dance

they were no sweets,
they were no colours
they was no logic

but i followed

then came times when i
drowned
and my head swirled with
cranky numbers

then the slap woke me up

sad slumber gone



-I found this saved as draft a year and half ago.When on a mission to upgrade all drafts saved to actual posts.

You know I'm not much for this modern poetry - but I did like some lines from this - especially 'i sorrowed all night/tomorrow it is going to be alright'. =)

But why so sad, though?

What should i do?tell (or dont)

See its like this,i've known her forever, whenever i've made references to her on this blog she's known it, after four years i'll be seeing some people who are a special part of my life, i would like to spend new years atleast this year with her....atleast this year... i wont and cannot tell her this to her face,she will get offended,she may not udnerstand my viewpoint, she will expect it of me,but wont get my view point still....... birthday,eve,n.yr...its ok if she's not there for mine....but i know what is going to happen.... though i cant help it...i will feel bad..... atb to her and all the goodness in the world. they'll not be that four again its true.... P.S:to her,please dont ask me about this.
