Udh stories/dialogues/memories.
1)How he pointed out to me that when the comp is searching for something it shows a torch light moving. He was 2.I did not notice this until he told me.
2)He was jumping around in our house and fell ...his reaction "My bum is broken".He was about 6.
3)We used to put him in the washing machine to show him how small he was and well to scare him that he can't get out.But well,he proved he is a family member, after that we had to put him in and remove him every single time. (NOW i do thing it was a scary thing to do).He was around 1and half -2 years old.
4)He would enter the kitchen from the back door. This led to the balcony where utensils were kept to dry. He'd pick up the Boorley mookudu (kadai) and a garitey (tbsp) and make loud noises. He'd continue this until he got distracted and move around all over the house with it.We were freaked out because he all these mookudus were (are) quite heavy. He was 2-2.5
5)He used to scribble on the board we bought for him (You know those ones you could hang on the walls, that looked like really big scrolls?) and he had explainations (stories) for all the doodles he made.He was 4-5
6)Once while he was doodling like (5),we had guests home.A cousin (who's much older) with her new born baby girl. They wanted to show Ammamma the baby.So all of us were in Ammamma's room and i didn't want to leave Udh alone.Plus Udh somehow thought he was older than any kid he met,he loved kids even before he had a brother. So i was trying to tell Udh that there's a really cute little baby in that room, come see her. She's tiny and well other words in Telugu for small.
So (he had now shifted to the bed in the hall and was scribbling on the paper i had given him),so he looks at me and says."Neekantey chinnada A'li".
This has became one of THE jokes about me at home! He was probably 5 or 6.
7)I had worn saree for the first time after Tenth Class self governing day,for the fresher's we were giving at college. So, I went to show off and ask Ammamma's opinion ,after getting ready. And Udh came upstairs for his morning visit. So i ask him (for his opinions were very very honest back then,he would tell us if he didn't like something we were wearing.Mostly it happened with Ice :D ).He looks upto me and says "Nee peLLaa A'li".
He was 3 and half years old.
In exactly 4 months,he'll complete a decade.
How time flies.
