(Imagine a type writer typing each letter....i always loved them.)
Time: Morning evening, during day time, well various hours of the day!
Month:June & July
Year:2007
Place: Lots of places in Medak District of A.P.
Memory.
Av and Me in the beloved Assigned Indica and our superb driver (uska naam kya tha miyaan?)
And we used to travel every other day for our field work to different vilalges in Medak. We were scheduled to stay there,ut thanks to one certain person that did not happen.
So we used to leave at 7am or so,sometime little earlier.Cab came to my palce first and then we picked Av at Vikrampuri...and off we went.Either on Medchal Road (which was great back then),Or Via BHEL or via Bolram-Alwal.
Meeting the kids was the best thing! But thats another post.
Av was dieting those days (she was to get official engaged once she went back to the US).My ever world-as-a-dot she turned up being from my school, though some 4-5 seniors and from icse. She did her medicine from Gujarat..where they had moved after her schooling. So stories in the day would start like this... "Hi,How's Mhr(her then fiance now husband),what did you have for breakfast, how's the shopping, what work did you complete once you got home.)This entire conversation would take maybe...say maximum one hour, after or before which Av would be on the phone with Mhr.
Ok now that is not the story.
We got along with each other just fine (professionally we did want to kill each other, thanks to gtalk/gmail we only had non face to face arguments.
Ok now that is not the story either.
So by now you know we travelled...a lot!
And our driver played just one tape.ONLY ONE (audio)tape!
And refused to change it,inspite of the fact that he had many more with him .We also offered to buy/get him more cassettes.
And he played it over and over again. So by the end of it.Well we kind of knew all the songs by heart. And we almost sang along....well we did sing along.Quite unintentionally!
So here goes.
Artist:Himesh Reshmiya.
Album:Aap ka Suroor (not the movie..MIND IT)
And umm...till date.I stil do sing along, quite unintentionally
Atleast of these songs..
Dil se poochley....jaan sey poochley...i love you sayyyoonneeeeee
Its Folkish (this one is quite the catchy one :D )
But folks,i am not fan.No Sir Sorry.
The evil ploy trying to get us happy lowly mortals into your changul didn't succeed HR!
(Throws back head and laughs ...muhahahahaha....muhauahahhaha)
All this thanks to Av sending me the video (which didnt open on my comp! yey) on fb.
PS:The title of the post means, once you get accustomed to something you start liking it.
It is applicable in lots of things in life..and not for some.
