She closed her eyes she could here the music from a distance Breeze, sitting on the bench Breeze, she thought, who made it where did it come from? What brought it there? where would it go? what would it do? Breeze, that could turn into a wind, into a storm, raise dust where it flew Breeze, that danced like it knew that that distant song she could hear the Breeze that made things dance gently on its infinite unpredictable path Did the breeze have a voice she thought or was it just the music rhythm and rhyme Did it see the colours it washed in its path like she could Did it know the calm, the smiles it brought to many a heart in pain, to many tormented on an otherwise harsh day, to those who need that breath of fresh air. Tabula Rasa

That's what I need in life right now. That and a nice long vacation,a true vacation free of thoughts, worries and responsibilities  (for lack of a better word) Apart from that I've been absolutely well~how about you folks out there?

Nostalgia

A decade and more of maintaining this blog. And in a couple of days, the next mad decade of life will start. Numbers, are significant in ones life. In some ways or the other.

Conventional

I am a conventional person. To be precise, I am a conventional Indian. Personality wise I have most if the traits 'Indians' are supposed to have. I don't care too much for how I look, I think being spiritual is important, I feel that family is very important and all that jazz. That said however, my family has never been the conventional type. People had grandparents whom they taught things to, I on the otherhand had grandparents from whom I only learnt, there was nothing Ammamma did not know. I grew up closer to my maternal side of the family (which is usually the norm) and still find my father's side odder. I have had issues with my family, which very very few of my friends know of and it probably will stay that way because if you don't know you are either too conventional for my taste or not important enough to know about it. Usually when people ask questions like 'what does your dad do' I reply with 'my parents are engineers'. To whi...
